Teaching Outside The Classroom

 The food drive turned out to be a great experience for all of us. We put a lot of hard work into it and in the end were satisfied with the outcome. The food drive did not come together quickly, we worked on it for two months. Over that time we did a lot to make sure everything ran smoothly. For our part in the food drive we did a bag drop off, which is where we dropped off bags at peoples houses for them to put cans in and then at the end of the week we would come by to pick them up. In order for this to be successful we had to plan what dates we would drop off the bags, when we would pick them up, and the appropriate neighborhoods to take the bas too. what made this food drive run smoothly was that we all worked together well and had a generous community who donated a lot of food.
